WHAT WE DID
Whilst getting the clients tax compliance up to date we made several suggestions to improve their systems and processes which added value and gained the clients’ trust.
Whilst some bookkeepers are brilliant, it became apparent that the client was not getting value for money. We put in place a tailor-made bookkeeping service for this client. This was not only an improvement on the service they received, but also saved costs on their accountancy fees. We were able to do things once and do them right.
A few years in, the client had a staff member leave. We stepped in and offered additional support whilst they looked for a replacement. They were so happy with our additional services that we have taken over this role as well.

We helped the client get their registrations set up. We had a few brainstorming sessions which really let us get to know their business goals and plans.
Like all new businesses, it takes time and a lot of effort at the outset. Initially, this client did everything themselves. It was going great and the feedback from their end customers was excellent.
It got to the point that she couldn’t grow any bigger without any support. Hiring staff can be really daunting at the outset. It is a big investment and sometimes doesn’t work out the way we had planned.
Initially, we took all the back office pressures off this client. From intercepting enquiries, follow up calls, and invoicing. We set up Receipt Bank and took care of paying the bills. This allowed her to grow bigger without the initial overheads. She now has two staff and has taken back some of the office work. The client has become a great success, and we now provide them with additional payroll, accounting and tax services.
